Golf course
Landry, New Brunswick
Golf Pokemouche runs along the Pokemouche River at Landry, in the middle of New Brunswick's Acadian Peninsula. Its name comes from a Mi'kmaq word for a bird sanctuary, and the eighteen holes are cut through partly wooded ground to a par of 72, measuring 6,156 yards from the yellow tees, 5,869 from the blue and 5,150 from the red. The yellow tees rate 71 against a slope of 131. It is shorter than a modern championship layout, so the trees and the shape of each hole matter more than length.
Golf Pokemouche is the golf course in Landry with live tee times on TeeClub, and one of 37 New Brunswick courses across the province. Getting there: open Golf Pokemouche in Google Maps.
